Ahmed Zaki joined Idarah Corporate Limited in January 2023 as Finance Manager based in the Dubai office.

Ahmed is a Professional Certified Management Accountant with more than 17 years of experience in management accounting (Budgeting, re-forecasting, treasury, payroll, tax, audit, performance management, financial statements analysis, internal control, management reporting, and statutory requirements) worked for various sectors (Trading – Hospitality – Insurance – Financial Services and Healthcare).  

Prior to joining Idarah, Ahmed was the Founder | Head of clients accounting services at HACS Consultancy in Alexandria, Egypt, worked for Hassab Labs in Alexandria, Egypt in 2021, as well as Vistra, a firm based in the DIFC, United Arab Emirates from 2013 to 2020. During his time with Vistra, Ahmed contributed to developing and expanding Vistra’s clients’ accounting business. He was handling a portfolio of 15+ local and international clients across different activities (Investments, Technology, Trading, Advisory, and Healthcare). He was also responsible for Vistra’s internal accounting operations, reporting, payroll, auditing, budgeting, forecasting, VAT registration & filing, and treasury. 

Before working with Vistra, Ahmed was a Chief Accountant at Gap Corp Insurance (formerly known as Lonsdale & Associates) in Dubai, UAE from 2007 to 2013.

Ahmed holds a BCom degree with a major in accounting from Alexandria University in Egypt, and he is a Certified Management Accountant from ICMA (The Institute of Certified Management Accountants) in the USA. He also holds certificates in computerized accounting, cloud software, cybersecurity, digital financial transformation, and ethical professional practices from the IMA. Ahmed is an active member of the IMA (Institute of Management Accountants) in the USA.  

Ahmed’s native language is Arabic, and he is fluent in English.
